In reply to your letter (Ref. No.53923/47) of 3rd November, 1947, it is regretted that the figure submitted had not taken into account the typist's error of £4 previously made in Dr. Woo's Salary. The total should read £1367.

The figures £570 and £488 which should read £525 and £468 respectively do not affect the total as they occurred, after computation, in the typing.

I thank you for confirmation of the interpretation here of the Burnham Report ruling on additional increments.
